The water used for waterjet cutting is generally ordinary tap water. When we install the robotic waterjet cutting equipment, we will provide a water softening device. The water softening device is used to remove calcium and magnesium ions in the water, prevent scaling, remove residual chlorine, and protect high pressure spare parts, extend the service life and increase the precision.After the water quality is treated, the service life of the orifice can be extended to a large extent. We have passed the test to test the physical particles, hardness and PH value of the purified water quality. If the water quality is completely free of impurities, it is impossible, but it can be controlled. In a reasonable range, under high pressure, water will always penetrate into the sealing device, thereby wearing related vulnerable parts, so sometimes we will add some soluble emulsified oil to the water to further soften the water quality and extend the life of the seal. The waterjet softening system generally uses a 20mu cotton filter, an activated carbon filter and a 5mu filter in series. The purpose of water filtration is mainly to remove suspended solids in the water. The method of water filtration is mainly realized by multi-stage series filter device.
